The Yaoundé Cultural Marathon by Toghu Marathoner was founded by Guinness World Record holder, cultural ambassador, and international marathon runner Afowiri Kizito Fondzenyuy, widely known as the Toghu Marathoner.
His inspiring journey has taken Cameroonian culture to some of the world’s most prestigious races and landmarks. By running major marathons in traditional Toghu attire, he has demonstrated how sport can become a powerful platform for cultural promotion, social impact, and global storytelling.
